The Carers Help And Talk (CHAT) line is available 24 hours a day 365 days per year. The line is manned by Carers who have an understanding of caring for a person with a mental health condition.

Local federation of national Age Concern. Services include Aging Well Resource Centre, Ashiana, culturally sensitive day centre at 21 Daneshouse Road. Caring Neighbourhood Scheme, Day Care Services, Hospital after care schemes, Insurance Services, Living choices, Action for Life that promotes fitmess and exercises, Trans Age Action which ptovides older volunteers to help disadvantaged children & families in school etc. Phone for details of current projects. Office is open Monday to Friday between 9.30am to 4.30pm or telephone callers from 9am to 5pm.
